Join enSEmble26 for a fun packed afternoon of stories and music with Alan Ridout's Ferdinand the Bull and The Swan and the Enchanted Lake, an original story of beauty, nature, music and silence written for enSEmble26 by Ellie Fagg and set to some of the most beautiful works of piano trio music.

About the event
Sunday Afternoon at 3pm is one for the children and the grandchildren with Alan Ridout's great musical adaptation of the fabourite children's story, Ferdinand the Bull for solo violin and narrator, followed by our original and captivating children’s concert "The Swan and the Enchanted Lake" written by Ellie Fagg, exploring the themes of nature, destruction, magic and music. The story is illustrated by some of the most beautful works for piano trio and narrated by Susie Riddell from the Archers. An afternoon that is bound to fire up all imaginations.
Music by Mendelssohn, Ravel, Debussy, Saint-Saëns and Shostakovich.
