GAIGA LIVE

Acclaimed musician Tom Norris’s new musical project GAIGA mixes his deep love of  acoustic sound, texture, harmony and electronics to create an  ambient atmospheric soundscape that is thought provoking and invigorating all at once. As a long standing principal member of the London Symphony Orchestra, Tom’s musical background is incredibly rich and diverse having toured the world with some of the greatest musicians and conductors, recorded numerous film soundtracks and worked with incredible artists, most recently recording live with award winning artists RAYE and Rosaliá. 

Having recorded an album of songs in 2010 in which he began experimenting a little in electronica, he has always had one ear on the electronics scene and after dabbling a little in writing to picture he decided to fully immerse himself in the ambient world. 

This concert will present his first album as an electronic artist, collaborating with Ellie Fagg on violin. Together, they will be exploring, live, the boundaries of acoustic and electronic, recorded and improvised and traditional and experimental sounds. 

With added live visuals by local VJ Rafael Filomeno this is definitely going to be a very different experience!
